Can you be multi-passionate without the burnout?

Are you multi-passionate but have found yourself burned out trying to do all of the things? Or perhaps the controversy around being multi-passionate has caused you to stay laser-focused on only one area but you're dying to let your creativity out?

Especially if you're starting your business, I know working with multi-passionate owners myself. It can be really hard to get out of the transition of doing all of the things and making sure all these things are getting done by your hands. How do you help them transition that and help them move into 'these are the tasks you need to work on. This is your strategy and your map'?

A big issue for a lot of people and, you know, the way that I like to teach it is through a three-part framework. And it really begins with taking a bird's eye view of things. And identifying. What do I truly want? What is, what is, what are the things that I want from my lifestyle, and how can my professional life support me? My personal life, to offbeat and focus within the up around, and we end up sacrificing a lot in our personal life for our professional ambitions; we spend less time with our families, we don't get to go on holiday, we set ourselves up so that our schedules, don't allow us time for breaks.

We think that that's the only way that we can do it. But if we take an approach, where were first starting to look at, what do I really want for my personal life? Do I want to spend impromptu moments with my child? Do I want to be able to sleep in every morning? Do I want to be able to take 10 days off work randomly in the middle of a month?

If we look at it that way, then we can start to restructure how we even approach our work life. We tend to really think that we need to do things in a very set way that we need to work Monday to Friday, 9, to 5 that we need to have a very set scheduled rigid structure for things based on the way that correct that our society is currently set up, but the truth is that we can really make our own rules. There's no particular reason why things are set up that way.

I love taking my clients to get that sort of step back rather than focusing on it. Oh, these are like all of the many tasks. I need to really first, look at what is even my goals for my personal life. And then once we identified that then we can start looking at it. Okay. Now, what are all the different things that I really want to do? What are all the cool things in my business? What are all of the amazing ideas that I have?
